Behind the work

Behind the work

Music has been part of my professional life for many years — as a performer, guitarist and music educator, and more recently as a musician working aboard cruise ships.

Playing in ship orchestras brought me into close contact with Guest Entertainers,

musical directors and musicians from many different backgrounds. Beyond the performances themselves, it gave me a firsthand understanding of how important good musical preparation can be when a show has to come together quickly.

Twin Seahorses Studio grew naturally from that experience, bringing together the different sides of my musical work: performing, teaching, arranging, writing and preparing music.

And, above all, a belief that when everything is properly prepared, musicians can forget everything but the music.
